what is your graphic card ? i found a solution for me, i have AMD and just open my AMD catalyst control center, then change the graphic setting for game.exe from high performance into power saving, i was play from the tutorial until mission 1 finished and there is no problem/error anymore (maybe just a bit lag when the video scene) but atleast not lag in the battle

my notebook is ASUS AMD FX 7500, RAM 8GB. I already try this , but still not working. but in my another notebook i can play this game without any problem
My graphic card is AMD R3. Already tried CCC.exe but there were no “Switchable graphic application setting” under “power” tab.

well i’ve found the solution for me (don’t know will works for the other or not), i just change the graphic setting for game.exe from high performance into power saving and can run the game
from the tutorial until mission 1 finished there is no problem/error (no lag when the battle, just maybe a bit lag when the 1st video scene)

Those having problems launching the game, maybe try switching between fullscreen and windowed on the launcher’s settings.
On my case, it won’t run at all on windowed, but runs fine on fullscreen.
i’ve tried windowed and fullscreen and its the same, stopped working on the type-moon screen, maybe there is something wrong with my laptop xD

to anyone that using window 8.1 and could run this game, can you tell me your driver?
mine is Amd radeon R3 and it’s not working with error “game.exe has sropped working”. Tried uninstall it then use Microsoft basic driver and it works however it’s very lag just like in safe mode.
Lol I tried to install it on low-spec pc:

Nvidia GTX 550ti
and it worked like a charm without any trouble

To Everyone who have “game.exe has stopped working” I also encountered it and managed to solved it. Just to be safe, make system restore point before attempting this method.
1.rename game.exe into fate.exe.
2.Download and install driver booster 4. (don’t run it yetyet)
3.Uninstall your driver. (right-click my computer >> properties >> Manage Device >> double click displau adapteradapter and then uninstall, make sure to check the box below after choose uninstall).
4.open driver booster 4 and scan (if it not scan automaticly) then update the box with display adapter (or everything if you wish to sure)
5.Wait until it finish download and installing (Your screen will flickered but don’t panic it was sign that your new driver being installed).
6.Play with fate.exe.
