Wonder if there will be again, like in their previous title, a random game-stopper enemy (requiring one and only one method, no other) in an early sidequests that forces one to restart the whole game and focus on character creation and “preparation” (which was impossible to know before) specifically on that encounter, and no other before that and hardly any others after.
Great roleplaying… Excused by “hard is good” hype, even when it’s “bad is good”.
I don’t understand what you’re talking about, if you mean the spiders, you can quite literally walk back to the town and buy throwables and spam them until they die. And while in the early days of the release there was no information in-game, they added about 5 different dialogues telling you to use fire, AoE and/or throwables to deal with them which is more than a single option.
And if you mean the Trolls whose weaknesses WERE hinted at, you’re given plenty of Fire/Poison attacks/weapons, you can even use the Acid Splash cantrip that Octavia comes with for free, every turn, and once again, throwables exist, you can stock up on poison bombs to kill them, and while this one’s not hinted at, you can use coup de grace to kill them once they’re downed without even having the necessary elements.

ho ho slow down dumb-ass.. how about pathfinder kingmaker, that allowed us to played with gamepad b’cause using unique combat system and combine with classic rpg. and that’s not problem for me
