impossible to play with the controller, can you do it? in the menus it works but once in the game (when you have to leave the bar) it recognizes the mouse and the keyboard but not my controller

OK, what acutally worked for me: Try setting the DPI scaling in the properties of the BlackOpsColdWar.exe to ‘Managed by: Application’.
It was actually not this what fixed it.
DO NOT start the game via link on your desktop. Start it with the .exe file directly in the game folder.
